The Beachcomber Tote & Handbag are beautiful, classy and spacious bags! They feature two exterior slip pockets, an interior slip pocket and a large zipper pocket. And everything is secure with a recessed zipper panel. I use a fabulous technique of creating the recessed zipper panels so they come out perfect every time!
This pattern is for the Intermediate Sewist. You'll need to know how to sew a gusset on a bag, determine interfacing requirements and be open to learning new techniques. Don't let any of this discourage you ... I have a Facebook group (JOIN HERE) that I'm active in and have very helpful members.
This pattern includes:

• A Cutting List (to use instead of the rectangular pattern pieces - to save the trees!)

RECOMMENDED FABRICS: I strongly recommend quilt weight cotton for the exterior and lining. Oilcloth and vinyl covered fabric can be used but I recommend sewing in quilting weight cotton the first time to get familiar with the pattern, specifically the gussets.
